Short Biograph
I am currently a PhD student of APEX Data & Knowledge Management Lab, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. My research interests include Ontology Learning, Semantic Web Data Indexing & Search and Query Interface & User Interaction for the Semantic Web. I successfully took charge of several joint research projects and published several papers in referred international conferences.

Research Assistant (APEX Data & Knowledge Management Lab, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Mar. 2005 – present)
CoBM (Collaborative Business Modeling) – A joint project with IBM China Research Lab. It aims to develop an integrated collaborative business modeling environment based on Eclipse. It includes the research on unified collaborative pattern based on actor‐based modeling framework, role mapping mechanism between different business processes, ontology‐based business modeling and model exchange, composition and synchronizing based on semantic technology. We achieved the 2006 International IBM Ecplise Innovation Award. I was the group leader of this project on the university side during Mar. 2005 to Mar. 2006.
Semantic Search on the Hybrid Semantic Web – A long term joint project with IBM China Research Lab. It aims to build a semantic search system for the Hybrid Semantic Web that contains formal semantics, informal information, and related annotations between them. It includes the research on ontology learning, semantic web data indexing & search model, and query interface & user interaction for the Hybrid Semantic Web. I am the group leader of this project on the university side during Apr. 2006 to Apr. 2008.
SEP (Semantic Enterprise Portal) – A joint project with Intel China Research Lab. It aims to build a semantic enterprise portal as an intelligent enterprise mashup for easier access, reuse and integration of resources and services. It includes the research on knowledge representation for both domain knowledge and available web services, unified query mechanism for these two kinds of information sources and more powerful query and search capabilities for the underlying heterogeneous forms of data. I am the group leader of this project on the university side during Mar. 2007 to present.
